Patients are urged to book Covid vaccine appointments (or attend our walk-in clinics on December 22 and 23rd) at the Altrincham Health & Wellbeing Centre until 31 December as part of a drive to maximise the protection of patients from Covid.
Invitations have been sent to those requiring Boosters (aged 18+ who had their second vaccination more than three months ago) and those requiring a first or second vaccine. Those aged 12-15 years old are also invited (patients of this age group are able to have a second vaccination 12 weeks after their first)
Following the recent Government announcement regarding the national acceleration of the COVID Booster programme, Altrincham Healthcare Alliance Primary Care Network is offering almost 8000 appointments at clinics in December.
Walk-in clinics are open from 9.00pm to 4.30pm on Weds 22 December and Thursday 23 December.
The delivery of the COVID vaccine programme is our immediate priority and additional clinics are being offered during the Christmas period to maximise protection for our patients.
Clinicians, staff and volunteers from our Primary Care Network local GP practices – Altrincham Medical Centre, Park Medical Practice, Shay Lane Medical Centre (Drs Kelman, Cranston, Naylor, Connell, Haslam and Pathak), St Johns Medical Centre and West Timperley Medical Centre – are working together to deliver the Covid Vaccination clinics in December on Thursday 16, Friday 17, Saturday 18, Monday 20, Tuesday 21, Wednesday 22 (walk-in clinic and pre-bookable), Thursday 23 (walk-in clinic and pre-bookable), Friday 24 (Christmas Eve), Wednesday 29, Thursday 30 and Friday 31 December.
If you have received an invitation, please book your appointment. Everyone invited will be able to access an appointment.
