Covid Vaccinations
Altrincham Healthcare Alliance Primary Care Network, is delivering Covid vaccinations as per NHS advice. We are contacting patients of our five local GP practices – Altrincham Medical Practice, Park Medical Practice, Shay Lane Medical Centre (Drs Cranston, Haslam and Connell), St Johns Medical Centre and West Timperley Medical Centre – in order of eligibility and in line with NHS guidelines and anticipated Covid vaccine deliveries. Clinics will be held on Thursday and Saturday mornings at the Altrincham Health and Wellbeing Centre, 33 Market St, Altrincham WA14 1RZ. If you have received a text message link to book an appointment and cannot see a suitable date or clinic availability, please re-check as clinics are regularly added. If you don’t have a registered mobile number GP practices will call the patient’s landline to book an appointment.
Covid vaccinations will be provided separately to flu vaccinations.
Flu Vaccinations
Flu jabs are being offered to all patients over the age of 50 plus clinically vulnerable groups. All patients will be notified by text message, in order of eligibility starting late September and throughout October/November in line with anticipated flu vaccine deliveries. Flu vaccinations will be administered to patients in their own GP practice. If you have received a text message link to book an appointment and cannot see a suitable date or any clinic availability you will be resent an invite as links expire after 48 hours. If you don’t have a registered mobile number the GP practice will call your landline to book an appointment.
Please note: separate arrangements are being made to administer Covid/Flu vaccinations to patients who are housebound or live in a residential or nursing home.
